Accessibility Statement

CBENN is working toward a website that can be used by students, families, educators, community members and partners with varied devices, connectivity, language backgrounds and access needs. The design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA; this statement does not claim third-party certification.

• Semantic landmarks, logical heading structure and labelled navigation.
• Keyboard-operable links, buttons, menus and form controls.
• Visible focus indicators and high-contrast text and controls.
• Linked field labels, inline errors and an accessible form error summary.
• Responsive layouts for small mobile screens and enlarged text.
• Reduced-motion support for visitors who request it in device settings.
• Alternative text for meaningful brand imagery and decorative-image handling.

Some external reports linked from the resource library are controlled by third parties and may not meet the same accessibility target. Third-party CDN or font availability may also affect presentation, although local fallbacks are included for core site functionality.

CBENN should complete keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast and mobile usability testing with people with disabilities before launch and after significant content or component changes.

Accessibility feedback should be acknowledged, investigated and tracked. CBENN should communicate what can be corrected immediately, what requires a longer remediation plan and any available interim alternative.
