About Life-Legacy

How do we get started?

You can begin by contacting us through our website, email, phone, or social media. We will briefly discuss your needs and guide you toward the most appropriate service or support option.

What is Life-Legacy not?

Life-Legacy is not a medical, psychiatric, or crisis intervention service. We do not provide emergency mental health treatment, clinical therapy, or medical care. We also do not replace legal or financial professionals.

We are a compassionate support service focused on emotional guidance, practical assistance, and grief-informed care.

Who can use Life-Legacy services?

Our services are available to individuals, families, caregivers, organizations, workplaces, and care facilities. Anyone experiencing grief, loss, life transitions, caregiving stress, or end-of-life situations may benefit from support.

Where is support available?

Support is available in-person within select regions of the Greater Toronto Area and virtually across broader locations, depending on service needs.

How support works

Services & Structure

Do you offer one-size-fits-all packages?

No. Every situation is different. We offer customized support based on your needs, circumstances, and level of care required. Services may be offered as one-time support, short-term assistance, or ongoing packages.

How are services structured?

Services are structured based on your needs and may include one-on-one sessions, family or group support, workshops, organizational consultations, or practical assistance. We will help guide you toward the most appropriate format.

Can support be purchased as a gift?

Yes. Support services can be offered as a gift for someone experiencing grief, caregiving responsibilities, major life transitions, or end-of-life situations. This can be a meaningful way to show care and practical support.

Team & employer care

Workplace & Organizational Support

How does Life-Legacy work with employers and organizations?

We partner with organizations to provide grief support, workplace education, leadership guidance, and employee wellbeing services. This may include training, workshops, and direct support for employees and teams.

Does this replace an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

No. Life-Legacy does not replace an EAP. We complement existing workplace wellness programs by providing specialized grief, loss, and transition support that may fall outside traditional EAP services.

Service Delivery & Safety

Are services virtual, in-person, or both?

Services may be offered in-person or virtually depending on location, service type, and client needs.

Are services confidential?

Yes. All services are handled with confidentiality and respect. Information is only shared with consent or where required by law for safety reasons.

What happens if someone needs urgent or clinical help?

If someone is in immediate crisis or requires emergency mental health or medical support, they will be directed to appropriate emergency services or licensed healthcare professionals. Life-Legacy is a non-emergency support service.

What if I’m not sure what service I need?

That is completely okay. Many people are unsure at first. You can simply reach out, and we will help guide you toward the right type of support based on your situation.
